Jordan records 12 deaths and 864 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 12 deaths and 864 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 325,033.

The death toll has risen to 4,281.

The cases are:

-612 in Amman

-120 in Irbid, including 25 in Ramtha

-36 in Zarqa

-18 in Jerash

-12 in Tafilah

-Nine in Aqaba

-Four in Ma'an, including one in Petra

-20 in Madaba

-15 in Balqa

-10 in Mafraq

-Five in Karak

-Three in Ajloun

A total of 67 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 44 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 8,158 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 706 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 312,594.

There are 390 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 22,359 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,829,308.

Friday, 3.86 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
