Jordan records 14 deaths and 808 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 14 deaths and 808 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 312,851.

The death toll has risen to 4,121.

The cases are:

-405 in Amman

-210 in Irbid, including 32 in Ramtha

-47 in Zarqa

-45 in Mafraq

-29 in Balqa

-21 in Jerash

-16 in Madaba

-14 in Tafilah

-11 in Aqaba

-Six in Ma'an, including three in Petra

-Three in Ajloun

-One in Karak

A total of 64 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 42 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 13,025 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 903 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 295,705.

There are 470 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 19,541 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,534,673.

Friday, 4.13 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
