Jordan records 26 deaths and 903 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 26 deaths and 903 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 296,668.

The death toll has risen to 3,877.

The cases are:

-300 in Amman

-351 in Irbid, including 13 in Ramtha

-84 in Balqa

-29 in Jerash

-20 in Mafraq

- one in Ma'an

-32 in Ajloun

-27 in Karak

-22 in Madaba

-10 in Aqaba

- zero in Tafilah

A total of 80 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 53 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 18,805 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 2,152 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 273,986.

There are 686 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 14,498 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,175,555.

Saturday, 6.23 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
