Jordan records 14 deaths and 1,674 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 14 deaths and 1,674 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 293,067.
The death toll has risen to 3,815.
The cases are:
-534 in Amman
-594 in Irbid, including 64 in Ramtha
-104 in Balqa
-66 in Karak
-61 in Mafraq
-35 in Madaba
-20 in Tafilah
-102 in Zarqa
-62 in Ajloun
-52 in Jerash
-28 in Aqaba
-16 in Ma'an, including two in Petra
A total of 85 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 111 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 20,409 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 2,221 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 268,843.
There are 640 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 25,933 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,152,125.
Wednesday, 6.46 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
