Wednesday, the media spokesperson for the Customs Department said that customs personnel working in the Aqaba Customs Directorate were able to seize a container loaded with electronic cigarette flavors whose contents were declared as dishwashing fluid.

The spokesperson added that the container cargo was under suspicion, and inspection, the e-cigarette flavors were seized in large quantities.

The case was referred to the Customs Attorney General for legal action.

Notably, Jordan prohibits these flavors from entering the local market due to the damage they cause to the citizen’s health.
