Jordan records 29 deaths and 1,590 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 29 deaths and 1,590 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 287,946.

The death toll has risen to 3,758.

The cases are: 

-485 in Amman

-377 in Irbid, including 21 in Ramtha

-143 in Balqa

-108 in Mafraq

-95 in Zarqa

-91 in Jerash

-77 in Ajloun

-61 in Aqaba

-56 in Karak

-41 in Tafilah

-36 in Madaba

-20 in Ma'an, including three in Petra

A total of 105 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 141 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 22,674active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 2,863 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 261,514.

There are 856 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 15,041 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,083,333.

Sunday, 10.57 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
