Jordan records 18 deaths and 1,050 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 18 deaths and 1,050 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 286,356.
The death toll has risen to 3,729.
The cases are:
-372 in Amman
-344 in Irbid, including 12 in Ramtha
-82 in Balqa
-63 in Aqaba
-63 in Mafraq
-48 in Ajloun
-27 in Madaba
-21 in Zarqa
-20 in Karak
-Five in Jerash
-Three in Tafilah
-Two in Ma'an
A total of 85 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 49 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 23,976 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 2,339 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 258,651.
There are 932 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 11,123 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,068,292.
Saturday, 9.44 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
