Jordan records 29 deaths and 1,707 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 29 deaths and 1,707 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 283,690.
The death toll has risen to 3,681.
The cases are:
- 558 in Amman
- 532 in Irbid, including 72 in Ramtha
- 126 in Zarqa
- 96 in Balqa
- 82 in Mafraq
- 75 in Jerash
- 71 in Ajloun
- 48 in Aqaba
- 40 in Karak
- 40 in Tafilah
- 33 in Madaba
- Six in Ma'an
A total of 106 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 113 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 25,513 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 2,338 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 254,496.
There are 951 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 17,716 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,040,342.
Thursday, 9.64 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
