Jordan records 25 deaths and 2,091 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 25 deaths deaths and 2,091 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 281,983.
The death toll has risen to 3,652.
The cases are:
-765 in Amman
-134 in Zarqa
-133 in Mafraq
-91 in Karak
-46 in Aqaba
-41 in Madaba
-503 in Irbid, including 59 in Ramtha
-133 in Jerash
-106 in Balqa
-63 in Ajloun
-44 in Tafilah
-32 in Ma'an, including three in Petra
A total of 120 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 132 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 26,173 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 2,902 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 252,158.
There are 1,005 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 20,453 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,022,626.
Wednesday, 10.22 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
