Jordan records 23 deaths and 2,152 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 23 deaths and 2,152 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 274,949.
The death toll has risen to 3,568.
The cases are:
-762 in Amman
-614 in Irbid, including 62 in Ramtha
-144 in Balqa
-125 in Zarqa
-82 in Ajloun
-75 in Mafraq
-74 in Jerash
-73 in Aqaba
-58 in Karak
-54 in Tafilah
-48 in Madaba
-43 in Ma'an, including three in Petra
A total of 102 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 129 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 28,257 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 3,980 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 243,106.
There are 1,037 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 18,5356 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,962,873.
Sunday, 11.61 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
