Thursday, the Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat told Amen FM that the first doses of Pfizer vaccine will be available in Jordan at the end of Jan. 2021. 

Obeidat added that the Ministry of Health is preparing to store the vaccine, in cooperation with the competent authorities and the Crisis Management Cell.

He also said that the government is currently working on getting COVID-19 vaccines from different sources.

Obeidat added the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Jordan decreased, however, people are still supposed to abide by the required health and safety measures, which include wearing facemasks, social distancing, and getting rid of some social habits such as shaking hands.
