The curfew in Jordan will be reduced by one hour, to start at 2am and finish at 6am, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Tariq Hammouri, announced on Thursday.
Working hours for all economic activities will also be extended until 1am, and the decision will be implemented from tonight, Hammouri added.
It is hoped the move will help stimulate the commercial sector, while making it easier for citizens to buy what they need ahead of the holiday.
The reduced curfew hours will remain in place until the end of Eid Al-Adha holiday, Hammouri said.
