Amusement parks and play centres in tourist resorts, as well as special education centres will be permitted to re-open from Sunday, June 28, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Tariq Al-Hamouri, announced.

Educational institutions can hold international examinations and centres for people with disabilities can resume educational services.

All activities must be conducted in accordance with public health and safety guidelines, including social distancing.

Approvals were granted in agreement with the Work, Production and Supply Chain Committee and the Epidemics Committee.

The decisions were made based on Article (3) of Instructions (1) — issued pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph (B) clause (2) of Defence Order (6) for the year 2020.
