Government: Comprehensive curfew this Friday, worshippers allowed to go to mosques on foot

A comprehensive curfew will be imposed in the Kingdom this Friday, June 5, the government announced in a statement released this evening. 

Since mosques will reopen this Friday, worshippers can go to mosques to perform the Friday prayer on foot from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the statement indicated.

In the same statement, the Health Ministry announced that two new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Kingdom today, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 757.

The new cases are:

- A Jordanian citizen who has recently returned from Russia.

- A non-Jordanian truck driver who was tested at the Al-Omari Border Crossing and was sent back to his home country.
