The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, has affirmed today that the government decided a few weeks ago to pay health workers monthly financial rewards in appreciation of their tireless efforts. 

In a press statement, Jaber emphasized that public health remains the nation's top priority and the government will provide all support needed to health workers who serve as the first line of defence in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
