The results of 150 random samples tested for COVID-19 in the Ma'an governorate have come back negative, a local health official said today.
Director of the governorate's Health Affairs Department, Amjad Abu Darwish, stated that an epidemiological inspection campaign was launched earlier this week, with teams collecting a total of 350 samples, of those 150 tested negative, while the results of the remaining samples will come back over the next two days.
Abu Darwish pointed out that a second campaign will be launched over the next few days to ensure that the governorate is free of coronavirus.
