Seven new coronavirus cases were confirmed today, bringing the total number of cases to 435, including people who recovered, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, the Minister said that the infected are three truck drivers, of whom two are Jordanians and one is of an Arab nationality. Among the cases are two brothers who contracted the virus from their infected father who is a truck driver and one who had direct contact with an infected person at Prince Hamzah Hospital. In addition, one person has tested positive for the virus after he underwent a test at a laboratory of the private sector. 

"Over 2,500 COVID-19 tests have been conducted today," the Minister said.
