The Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Tareq Hammouri, has announced today that the furniture and clothing shops are no longer required to operate through home-delivery service.

However, restaurants and pastry shops that will be allowed to open will be required to operate only through providing delivery service, Hammouri said during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

"Bakeries will be allowed to sell Qatayef during Ramadan, under conditions," Hammouri confirmed.

He added that during the next week there will be teams in all governorates to train people on the mechanism of registration in social security and the creation of e-wallet profiles.

The Minister assured that the facilities not registered in the social security will not be closed.
