The online platform launched to allow Jordanians abroad to apply for returning back home has received a total of 10,000 applications a day after its official launch, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

By the end of Saturday, April 18, the safelyhome.gov.jo portal received around 10,000 applications, the Ministry spokesman, Ambassador Daifallah Al-Fayez said today, noting that not all of the applicants are students and some might not be eligible for return at the current stage.

He added that the processing of the applications will start as soon as the deadline set for submission ends on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Ministry, as well as the Kingdom's missions and embassies abroad, published the guidelines, instructions and conditions for the return of Jordanian students abroad in a simple and clear way on their official websites and twitter accounts.
