Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum decided on Sunday evening, April 5, to close the Irbid fruit and vegetable market as of this morning.

He confirmed that the decision comes in line with the Defence Law as crowds were spotted there. In addition, sellers violate the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The following photos were taken this morning, showing the market empty of sellers and citizens after the closure decision was put into effect.
