The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) will start using drones to monitor people's movement and to ensure that they're following the rules during the curfew, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, announced today.

During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Adaileh said that additional measures will be applied in some villages, where citizens don't abide by the instructions.

He stated that new measures will be announced in the coming days to mitigate the economic effects of the corona crisis.

"There are procedures and decisions that will be taken in the coming days to mitigate the effects on the private sector," Adaileh said.

He revealed that the "Himat Watan" account has so far received over JD 39 million of donations, while the Ministry of Health's account received JD 14 million and the Charity account received JD 754,000.

Adaileh mentioned that the efforts of Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania have succeeded in providing the Kingdom with 100,000 virus detection kits and a number of medical supplies from Chinese businessman Jack Ma, thus enhancing the Kingdom's efforts in facing this epidemic.
