No new corona cases were reported so far and the number of cases is still 56, Minister of Health Saad Jaber announced today.

During a press conference, the Minister expected that the caseload will decrease in the coming days following the government recent measures.

"A Lebanese woman was suspected of having the virus. She was examined and must be re-examined to ensure the results," Jaber stated.

For his part, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, said that there are 4,382 people quarantined, explaining that 3,055 are quarantined in Amman hotels and 1,837 in the Dead Sea hotels.

"Air, land and sea shipping is still operating as usual," Adaileh confirmed, adding that food stock supply is also going as usual.

He stressed that His Majesty King Abdullah II follows up on the government measures to fight the virus and directs the government to take further measures when necessary.
