Jordanians nationwide, on Friday, took to the street to protest against the US administration's Middle East peace plan, the "Deal of the Century."

Protesters praised His Majesty King Abdullah II's role in supporting the Palestinian people, and their right to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The protesters expressed that the United States has lost its neutrality and its role as a mediator and sponsor of the peace process in the Middle East region.

They stressed that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the future independent Palestinian state, commanding His Majesty's role, the custodian over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, in supporting the two-state solution as a springboard to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
