Lebanese suspect of 'tobacco case' dies

Head of the State Security Court (SSC), Colonel Dr. Mohammed Al-Afif announced that the Lebanese suspect of the "tobacco case," Yousef Khazam died this morning, July 15, 2019.

Earlier in May, Jasser Al-Nabar, another suspect of the case, died due to a heart attack during a court session and the SSC decided to drop his charge after it received the death report. 

In the same context, the SSC decided to postpone the two court sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, until next week, as the main suspect of the case, Awni Mutee is currently at Queen Alia Heart Institute at the King Hussein Medical Centre for Cardiac catheterization.
