Following the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh instructed all ministries and government agencies during the Cabinet session to fully support the Independent Election Commission (IEC) in organizing the parliamentary elections as ordered by His Majesty.

Khasawneh emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to advance confidently and consistently towards achieving the goals of the comprehensive modernization program, covering political, economic, and administrative aspects.

He highlighted that the parliamentary elections are a significant milestone, representing the first political aspect of the comprehensive modernization project led by His Majesty the King and supported by His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.

Khasawneh stated that Jordan is strong and confident, and the ongoing processes are vital for enhancing strength and resilience in serving the nation, its people, and addressing Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian cause.
