A student from Birzeit University in the West Bank was severely injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers, as he and his college friends protested the arrest of their classmate, Omar Al Kiswani.

The paramedics trying to reach the injured student and friend of Al Kiswani were threatened and assaulted by the soldiers in another breach of the international law. 

Several attempts later, he was finally taken to hospital.
