New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was confronted during a visit to Eichler’s Judaica store in Boro Park, Brooklyn, ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
Stephanie Benshimol, who identifies as the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, loudly criticized Mamdani over his political stance on 'Israel' and accused him of fostering antisemitism. Mamdani did not engage with her remarks as she continued speaking, while security personnel stepped in to keep distance between them.
