The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed two hostile drones launched by the Houthi targeting the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Official Spokesperson for the Coalition Forces, Major General Turki Al-Malki, confirmed the successful interception in a statement posted on X, adding that military forces are continuously monitoring incoming aerial threats.

Concurrently, the Saudi General Directorate of Civil Defense activated emergency protocols in the southwestern Asir Province, issuing public safety advisories via the National Early Warning Platform.
Automated emergency warnings were broadcast directly to mobile devices across Abha City and Khamis Mushait Governorate, alerting residents to potential incoming hazards.
Civil Defense authorities instructed residents in affected areas to remain vigilant, monitor official communication channels, and follow safety protocols until emergency warnings are officially cleared.
