Day 207 | IRGC threatens to expand war's geographic scope

A spokesman for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned on Sunday that Tehran will respond to any new US military strikes by deploying undisclosed, advanced weaponry and expanding the "geography of the war" beyond its current theater.

The statement follows nearly seven months of military conflict between the two nations and comes as US President Donald Trump confirmed he has entered "deciding mode" regarding Washington's next steps.

Speaking to Fox News on Sunday, US President Trump outlined three potential paths forward: "wiping Iran out," "letting them rot economically," or attempting to strike a diplomatic deal to conclude the war.

"My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave," Trump said during the interview.

Trump added that he would "probably" be open to meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, where both leaders are scheduled to attend.

Concurrently, US embassies across the Middle East issued heightened security advisories for American citizens, warning of the potential for sudden, unforeseen escalation across the region.

The security alerts coincided with intensified military engagements between Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi group and the Saudi-backed coalition.

American diplomatic missions instructed US nationals to remain vigilant and prepare for widespread travel and logistical disruptions.
