A ride-share driver in Warsaw reportedly refused to complete a journey after learning that his passenger was 'Israeli', according to footage circulated online.
The incident reportedly occurred during a trip in the Polish capital involving a Bolt vehicle driven by a man originally from Dagestan, according to a Jewish account on X that shared the woman’s version of events.
According to the account accompanying the footage, the journey initially proceeded normally before the driver asked the passenger where she was from. After learning that she was Jewish, he reportedly told her that he would not have allowed her into the vehicle had he known beforehand.
The situation escalated during the journey, with the driver allegedly refusing to continue and demanding that the passenger leave the vehicle.
Footage recorded by the passenger shows her refusing to exit and arguing that the driver was required to take her to her destination. She is heard speaking in Polish and Russian during the confrontation.
The driver is also seen holding up a smartphone and saying "Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar," meaning "Thank God, God is greater," during the dispute.
The passenger is heard chanting "Am Yisrael Chai," a Hebrew phrase meaning "The people of Israel live."
