Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya HQ reasserts control over Hormuz

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, declared that no commercial vessel or oil tanker can safely navigate the Strait of Hormuz without explicit authorization and oversight from Iran's armed forces, dismissing US statements regarding normal maritime transit in the strategic waterway.

Rebutting recent American assertions, Zolfaghari described claims of routine vessel traffic as baseless fabrications that underscore the desperation of the US military.

"It is declared that the Strait of Hormuz, as in the past, remains under the complete management and control of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Zolfaghari stated. "No commercial ship or oil tanker has, or will have, the possibility of safe transit through this strait without the authorization and supervision of the powerful armed forces of Iran."

Zolfaghari asserted that U.S. leadership and military forces have long experienced the strength and resolve of the Iranian people and armed forces, accusing Washington of continually fostering instability across the region.

"America continuously seeks wickedness and insecurity in the region," Zolfaghari said, adding that unbacked threats against Iran's heightened military readiness will yield "nothing but further helplessness and misery" for US forces.

The statement emphasized that Iranian forces maintain full surveillance over all movements by US and 'Israeli' forces throughout the region.

Reaffirming allegiance to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Zolfaghari concluded that the armed forces will not hesitate to defend national sovereignty, the rights of the nation, and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, warning that any threat at any level will encounter a "heavier and more crushing response than before".
