During the hearing, the lawyer representing UNRWA, the former mayor of Tayibe, tried to speak rudely to me and to MK Tali Gottlieb. But we quickly clarified his place for him (spoiler: not in the Israel Bar Association).
This important law, thanks to which I evacuated the UNRWA compound in Ma'alot Dafna where an end was put to the absurdity in which the State of Israel allowed UNRWA's activities within its borders and effectively mandates their expulsion from Israel.
I hope that the High Court of Justice will reject the petitions and leave this important law in place.
And to all those terror supporters with lawyer robes who defend UNRWA's activities, I say: the days when you do whatever you want are over.
