Air defense across the Gulf went into active engagement as both the Kuwaiti Armed Forces and Bahraini state media reported intercepting multiple incoming Iranian drone and missile strikes over their respective territories.

The joint activation of air defense umbrella networks highlights the continuing military escalation following direct Iranian strikes across the region targeting infrastructure and defense positions.

Kuwaiti army repels drone attack

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that its air defense systems actively engaged incoming hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) following what it termed "Iranian aggression".

Military officials clarified that loud explosions heard across various governorates were the direct result of Kuwaiti air defense batteries successfully intercepting and destroying incoming targets in mid-air.

The Kuwaiti military called on citizens and residents to follow security directives issued by official authorities and to avoid approaching any military sites or debris fields.

Bahraini defenses destroy aerial targets

Simultaneously, Bahrain State Television reported that the Kingdom's air defense networks intercepted and destroyed multiple Iranian aerial attacks in Bahraini airspace.

The interceptions follow the activation of warning sirens across the kingdom, with the Bahraini Ministry of Interior instructing residents to seek immediate shelter in designated safe areas.

Bahraini defense authorities confirmed that their units remain on full alert to protect state sovereignty and ensure civilian safety.
