Jordan condemns Damascus café explosion, reaffirms solidarity with Syria

• Jordan condemns the Damascus café explosion, expresses solidarity with Syria and rejects all forms of terrorism.

Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned the “terrorist explosion” that struck a café near the Justice Palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali said Jordan stands in full solidarity with the government and people of Syria, and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to undermine security and stability.

Majali reiterated Jordan’s position in support of Syria’s security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.

He also extended condolences to the Syrian government, the families of the victims, and the Syrian people, wishing a speedy recovery for those injured.
