“We’re aware people are currently having trouble accessing our services. We’re working on it,” Stone wrote in an earlier update.
In a follow-up post, he added: “We’re coming back, though it may take a bit of time for everything to be fully back to normal.”
The outage temporarily impacted Meta-owned platforms across multiple countries, preventing users from logging in and accessing core features. The company confirmed that engineering teams were actively working to restore full functionality, but did not immediately provide technical details on the cause of the disruption.
Meta has not yet given a timeline for full recovery, though it indicated that services are progressively returning to normal.
