Low-cost carrier Wizz Air said Monday it has suspended all flights to and from ‘Israel’, amid the ongoing escalation in hostilities between the two-arch foes.
The decision applies to flights on Monday and Tuesday.
“The safety and security of our passengers and crew remains the airline’s highest priority,” Wizz Air said in a statement.
“Wizz Air continues to closely monitor the evolving situation in coordination with relevant authorities and will adjust operations accordingly.”
‘Israel’ said its airspace will stay open, and that Ben Gurion Airport will operate as usual.
Iran has fired around 20 ballistic missiles since Sunday night, and ‘Israel’ responded with at least two waves of strikes inside Iran.
