Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesman for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a sharp warning over recent developments in Lebanon, accusing 'Israel' of repeated ceasefire violations and escalating attacks in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In his statement, Zolfaghari said that the escalation has taken place with US backing and international silence, and claimed that prohibited weapons, including white phosphorus, have been used. He said these actions amount to what he described as ongoing “war crimes” against the population.

He added that Iran had previously warned that further expansion of strikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs would trigger a response targeting 'Israel'.
Zolfaghari further cautioned that if attacks continue or if there is retaliation against Iranian actions, it would lead to what he described as “more severe and destructive strikes,” warning of broader consequences against ‘Israel’ and its supporters.
