Jordan’s preliminary squad for 2026 World Cup released

Jordan national football team head coach Jamal Sellami has officially announced the preliminary squad for the players set to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, which will be Al-Nashama’s first ever participation.

Al-Nashama was drawn into Group J, alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.

Switzerland (May 28–31)

The team will depart for the Swiss capital on the evening of Thursday, May 28, where Jordan will face Switzerland national football team in a friendly match on May 31 at Kybunpark in St. Gallen.

United States (June 1–10):

The team will then travel to San Diego for a training camp in the United States, which will include a friendly against Colombia national football team on Sunday, June 7, at Snapdragon Stadium.

Portland, United States:

Jordan will then settle into its official World Cup base camp in Portland for the duration of the tournament.
