The fourth edition of the Tawasul 2026 Forum kicked off on Saturday at the Dead Sea Convention Center, organized by the Crown Prince Foundation under the patronage of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
This year’s forum is held under the theme “Visions for Tomorrow’s Opportunities,” focusing on major global transformations and their intersection with bold local questions, seeking to answer: Where are tomorrow’s opportunities taking shape, and how can they be understood?
The forum features five parallel dialogue sessions covering topics including media message design, the freelance economy, lifestyles in a changing world, the post-programming era, and an interactive discussion with young people on the next 10 years.
It will also host a special session on redefining productivity through artificial intelligence, another on Jordan’s opportunities in emerging technology sectors, and a discussion on the next step toward building a Jordanian sports industry.
Crown Prince highlights AI’s role in growth
Speaking at the opening of the forum, Crown Prince Al Hussein stressed that artificial intelligence has become a key driver of growth and productivity, emphasizing Jordan’s efforts to build AI-based applications across both the public and private sectors.
He praised the organizers of the forum, now in its fourth year, and noted that the Kingdom is still at the beginning of its journey to harness emerging technological tools across all fields of work.
The Crown Prince said Jordan possesses the human talent needed to lead this transformation, stressing the need to develop national programs, particularly educational ones, to keep pace with global modernization.
His remarks underscored the importance of empowering young people to navigate new digital challenges, improve institutional efficiency, and support innovation-driven entrepreneurship across the Kingdom.
“This is the fourth year of Tawasul, and blessed efforts to everyone. Artificial intelligence is a key driver of growth and productivity, and we are still at the beginning of the road,” the Crown Prince said.
“Our goal is to build AI-based applications in both the public and private sectors and use these smart tools in our work.”
“Thankfully, we have the capabilities, and we must develop our programs, especially educational ones, to keep pace with this modernization.”
