The Global Sumud Flotilla said there is an imminent threat of interception against boats from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), days after 22 of its vessels were intercepted in Greek search-and-rescue waters.

In a statement, the group said four FFC boats reported a helicopter circling overhead at 19:27 Palestine time, followed by sightings of three drones and a vessel operating without lights later in the evening.

Maritime tracking data also indicated a US Lockheed Martin aircraft had flown above the fleet shortly before, while participants reported additional boats and unidentified lights trailing the flotilla.
