The American University of Madaba (AUM) announced the activation of its Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in a statement addressed to students, citing ongoing regional developments and the need to ensure the continuity of education under safe conditions.
Under the decision, in-person classes will be suspended and replaced with online learning from Monday, March 30, 2026, through Thursday, April 2, 2026.
The university said the move aligns with its risk management policies and efforts to enhance operational readiness while maintaining a safe learning environment.
It added that the measure comes as part of precautionary steps that complement national efforts led by the Jordan Armed Forces and security agencies to preserve stability and manage the current situation.
