Jordan responds to Iran strikes on its territory within last 24 hours

The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army announced on Sunday that Iran targeted the kingdom with a missile and two drones over the past 24 hours.
The military’s General Command said the Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted all incoming threats.
Separately, the Public Security Directorate reported that its units handled 26 incidents involving falling debris and projectiles during the same period. No injuries were recorded, though minor material damage was reported, including damage to three vehicles.
Authorities renewed warnings against approaching or tampering with any suspicious objects or debris due to the potential danger. Citizens were urged to follow official safety instructions and report any suspicious items to security services via the emergency number 911.
Officials also stressed the importance of relying on verified information from official sources and avoiding the spread of rumors and misinformation.
