Flydubai announced the gradual resumption of its flight operations across its network under a reduced schedule, as regional airspace restrictions continue amid ongoing security developments.

The airline issued strict guidance to passengers to avoid congestion at airports, urging travelers not to head to the airport unless they hold a confirmed booking or have received official confirmation that their flight has been rescheduled.

Flydubai also said passengers with connecting flights through Dubai should not depart from their original locations unless their onward flight is confirmed to be operating.

A spokesperson for the airline told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the company is continuously updating its flight schedule and adding services whenever airspace restrictions are eased.

The airline also warned that flight times may be longer than usual due to temporary rerouting of certain air corridors for security reasons.

Flydubai said it is closely monitoring developments to ensure the highest safety standards for both passengers and crew.

The announcement follows a period of flight suspensions linked to military escalation in the region, as Dubai’s airports work to partially restore operations and facilitate travel for stranded passengers.
