Foreign ministers from more than 20 nations and international bodies have united in condemnation of ‘Israel's’ recent moves to expand unlawful control over the occupied West Bank, labeling them as flagrant breaches of international law.

In a joint statement released by Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signatories including Denmark, Finland, Brazil, France, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Egypt, Luxembourg, Norway, Palestine, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkiye, the League of Arab States, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation denounced the decisions.

These include wide-ranging changes that reclassify Palestinian land as so-called “Israeli state land," accelerate illegal settlement activity, and deepen administrative entrenchment.

The group described the actions as violations of UN Security Council resolutions, the 2024 International Court of Justice Advisory Opinion, and broader international norms.

"We are clear that Israel's illegal settlements... are a flagrant violation of international law," the statement reads, warning that such moves aim to impose de facto annexation and undermine regional peace efforts, including the 20 Point Plan for Gaza.

The ministers urged ‘Israel’ to immediately reverse the decisions, honor its international obligations, and avoid steps that could permanently alter the legal and administrative status of the occupied Palestinian Territory.
