Jordan’s Safadi visits Caracas for talks with Venezuela’s acting president

Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi visited Caracas on Thursday, where he is set to meet acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez and Foreign Minister Yván Gil.

“Talks will focus on opportunities to expand cooperation, strengthen bilateral relations, and address issues of mutual interest,” the statement by Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said.

In talks with Gil, ways to enhance relations between Jordan and Venezuela and develop prospects for cooperation were discussed in the meeting, a second statement from Jordan’s Foreign Ministry added.
