Hamilton praised the teams from the British Red Cross, Jordan Red Crescent, and Palestine Red Crescent Societies for their efforts in delivering essential aid to the Gaza Strip.

"The time I spent in Jordan visiting a hospital and aid packaging facility dedicated to helping people in Gaza was life changing. When you see what’s happening on the ground, it can be so easy to feel hopeless and like there’s nothing we can do to help. I thought that feeling of hopelessness would’ve been what I took away from my visit, but it wasn’t,” Hamilton said.

"We would all benefit from their spirit of resilience and their determination to help those who need it."

Hamilton urged for unrestricted access for humanitarian organizations to reach affected areas in Gaza and denounced the limited flow of assistance which falls short of what it required.

"Help is possible, ending this suffering is possible, but the trickle of aid currently reaching Gaza is nowhere near enough," he wrote.

"Humanitarian organisations must be allowed to reach the places where help is needed, and they desperately need us to use our voices, and our donations, to help them do so."

"We must keep lending our voices and our attention to this crisis. We must continue to speak up for what is right."

Hamilton has previously used his platform to advocate for issues such as racial equality, environmental sustainability, and global humanitarian efforts.
