Civilians killed, injured in Syria's Raqqa

Medical sources in Raqqa reported on Sunday that civilians have been killed and injured following direct gunfire in the city.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) confirmed that several civilians were killed and others sustained injuries of varying severity after being targeted by snipers and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) deployed across Raqqa neighborhoods.

Curfew imposed, city turns into “barracks”

The attacks coincide with reports of heavy SDF deployment on building rooftops and major squares throughout the city.

Eyewitnesses said SDF members are using excessive force against any civilian movement, including humanitarian cases, creating widespread fear and panic among residents.
