Addressing the audience alongside Pascal and Mustafa, Hadid emphasized the urgency of the moment. "For the people of Palestine and Sudan, yes, they deserve our applause. Families face unimaginable losses, displacement, hunger, and violence. Tonight we try to protect them from the genocidal threats seeking to erase them," she said.
She added, "Even remembering itself is a form of protest. Whatever we can do with words, with love, and making sure their voices are always heard, that is what matters most… this cause is very important to both of us."
The event featured performances by top international artists including Shawn Mendes, Clairo, Jazmine Sullivan, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Omar Apollo, Raven Lyn, Alex G, and more. All proceeds will be split equally between the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund and the American Sudanese Doctors Association.
