- Psychological Warfare: An anonymous "intimidation campaign" targeted thousands of ‘Israelis’ via British phone numbers (+44) on Saturday, using personal data—including national ID numbers.
- Official Response: ‘Israel’s’ National Cyber Authority dismissed the operation as a low-level effort to "create panic," urging the public to ignore the messages while social media users linked the midnight threat to memories of the June 2025 ballistic missile attacks.
Thousands of ‘Israelis’ received threatening text messages on Saturday, with Hebrew media saying it is part of an “Iranian intimidation campaign”.
The reports added that the messages contained personal information of ‘Israelis’, with “The Times of Israel” saying it is an attempt at “psychological warfare by Iranian agents”.
The messages were from a British number with the international code of +44.
“This is your last chance to save yourself and your family. Our [embassies] are open to you. We know you,” some of the English messages read.
Some ‘Israeli’s’ received a link to a page containing personal information, including their national ID number.
One other message read: “We are coming. Look at the sky in the midnight” - with some social media users pointing to the sight of Iranian ballistic missiles in ‘Israeli’ skies back in the June 2025 war.

In a statement cited by YNET, ‘Israel’s’ National Cyber Authority said that “this is nothing more than an attempt to create panic among the public”.
It added that this is a campaign from an “unidentified source” and urged ‘Israelis’ to ignore them and “continue with your routine”.
