Low clouds are forecast, along with morning fog over highlands and plains. Temperatures are expected to drop sharply at night, with very cold conditions setting in.
The department warned on Saturday of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog during the early morning and late-night hours. It also cautioned against the formation of frost during the early morning hours over high mountain peaks, urging drivers and farmers to take necessary precautions.
Gradual warming from Sunday
Starting Sunday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, while remaining cold across most governorates and mild in low-lying and tourist areas, including the Dead Sea and Aqaba. South-easterly winds are expected to pick up, which may increase the feeling of cold, with fog warnings continuing for high elevations during the morning hours.

By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to continue rising, though the weather will remain generally cold, particularly over highlands, and mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
